The rerelease of Rockstar movie: 1 Lakh tickets sold

Rockstar movie was released for the first time 13 years ago. After the announcement of the rerelease of Rockstar movie, more than 1 Lakh tickets were sold for it within 2 weeks.

Ranvir Kapoor was the lead actor in the Rockstar movie. Imtiaz Ali directed Rockstar movie. In 2011 Rockstar hit the theatre for the first time. In just 2 weeks it has earned 1.10 crore rupees by selling the ticket after announcing the rerelease.

It was a blockbuster movie and the story was about a musical romantic drama. Remembering it background response from the audience, the maker decided to rerelease or Rockstar movie.

After watching the success of this movie, the makers also decided to run this movie in the third week and also expected good earnings after the weekend.

Rerelease of Rockstar movie sold 1.10 crore value tickets

Imtiaz Ali is the director of Rockstar movie. He is very popular as a Bollywood director. But it is a surprising factor that his 13 year old film earned 1.10 crores from the box office.

The movie became more and more in demand from the audiences of India. At the end of the first week of the rerelease of Rockstar movie, it had collected Rs- 474.6 million net.

On the opening day, it earned 100 million rupees and became the second highest opener in a nonfestival season.

Rockstar broke the record of Tamasha and Jab We Met

With the Rockstar movie, another two movies by Imtiaz Ali were also released. Those movies are Tamasha and Jab We Met. Both of the movies cannot be able to match Rockstar.

Jab We Met rerelease also had done very good number during Valentine’s week but Rockstar earned more than that. Over the 13 years the musical romantic story Rockstar has managed to make an impression among the larger audience.

Mostly the youth were very much connected with it. The interesting side of this movie is the onscreen chemistry between Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri. Ranbir Kapoor’s character name was RK, a musician.

He appeared in a rugged and raw look in Rockstar. Currently, Rockstar is screening in PVR Inox. Except for Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri, there are other actors like – Shammi Kapoor, Kumud Mishra · Piyush Mishra, Shernaz Patel,  Aditi Rao Hydari and Sanjana Sanghi.
