The presence of Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon in Banaras Ganga Ghat for Banarasi saree promotion becomes viral on the internet. Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and actress Kriti Sanon walked the Ganga Ghat of Kashi to promote sarees of Banaras. The clothes design and show were organized by designer Manish Malhotra. It was a fashion show and, in that fashion, show the Ganga Ghat of Kashi was the ramp for Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon. The event was held on 14th April,2024 Sunday in the evening. 

Except for Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon, there were 40 other models. Designer Manish Malhotra promoted Silk fabrics through this project worldwide. Through this Banarasi saree fashion show the power of Handlooms and handicrafts of India was also promoted.

Designer Manish Malhotra made an effort to give recognition of the Banarasi weaver at the global level. This event will make the Heritage of Banaras in the international market of fabrics. Designer Manish Malhotra has employed 22 waivers for waving the sarees for this fashion show. People from anywhere in the world will get Banarasi waiver products promoted in that fashion show from Manish Malhotra’s stores.

Manish Malhotra Choose Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon to add color to this ramp show. There were ambassadors from 20 countries all over the world in the fashion show. Those countries are Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Mali, Togo, Peru, Panama and more. This program was organized under the leadership of Rajya Sabha MP Shri Satnam Singh Sandhu. Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon in Banaras for sari promotion went successful because all the people were happy with this fashion show.

In the fashion show of Manish Malhotra 40 people were honoured who are related to Banarasi Kasubi. Among the 40 people, there were 22 weavers. Some of them are Padma Shri awardees. This fashion show helps to take Banarasi waving in the world markets. It will help to improve the economic condition of the weavers from Banaras. 

The models of the show wear Banarasi silk based sarees, lehengas, chunri, salwar, kurtas, etc. 

Ranveer Singh’s present was also attractive and he wore a Banarasi silk kurta with dhoti. The crowd of that show gave a warm welcome to Ranveer and Kriti.

After the fashion show attended by Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon in Banaras, they landed in Kashi. They participated in the program and also visited Kashi Vishwanath Dham. Ranveer Singh said to the media “After coming to Kashi, it is an indescribable experience. The power of Kashi can only be experienced here. There is no comparison to the artistry of weaving here. Har Har Mahadev”.
