The story of Indian football coach Syed Abdul Rahim’s story is picturized in this movie. The Maidaan trailer has been released and the movie will come to the theatres on 10th April. It will compete with the movie ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ in the time of Eid.

In the trailer of Maidaan, it is shown how much trouble was there for football coach of the Indian team Abdul Rahim faced to create history in the game of football. In the opening of the trailer, Ajay Devgan gives a powerful dialogue that indicates an impossible task.

In the beginning of trailer Priyamani is telling to Ajay Devgan “India meinkisi ko nahinlagta ki hum kabhijeetenge, par apakalagtahai.”

A song is also heard in the background in the trailer and the song is “Team India Hai Hum.”

The film Maidaan is picturised the period 1951 and 1962. It shows how the football coach Syed Abdul Rahim gave his leadership to the Indian football team and owned the Asian Championship.
