The composer Sukhwinder Singh first made the tune of Jai Ho for the film Yuvvraaj. Later Subhash Ghai cannot match the song Jai Ho with the concept of the movie Yuvvraaj. After that, AR Rahman used it for Slumdog Millionaire and got the Oscar. Director Ram Gopal Varma also described AR Rahman as a state Sukhwinder to composed the tune of Jai Ho because Subhash Ghai wanted the tune as soon as possible.
Jai Ho tune was used in Slumdog Millionaire before the release of the Yuvvraaj movie. After that incident, Subhash Ghai asked A R Rahman why he was making Sukhwinder work on his composition.
