Netflix bought Pushpa 2 for a large amount

The Pushpa movie was hugely successful at the box office and was liked by audiences very much. Now a big update is revealed about the next series of Pushpa that Netflix bought Pushpa 2. Pushpa movie is considered as the best work till now in the career of South Indian actor Allu Arjun. The first part of the series of Pushpa directed by Sukumar was released in 2021.

The movie Pushpa 2 is near its completion. The reports have already come out about the deal of Pushpa 2 for its OTT release. 

For how much Netflix bought Pushpa 2?

People will be surprised after knowing the details of the OTT deal for Pushpa 2. Netflix will pay an amount of 250 crore rupees as the base price to acquire the OTT rights of Pushpa 2. Depending on the success of Pushpa 2 release in theatres the price can go up to 300 crores. No Indian film got this amount from the OTT release previously. 

SS Rajamouli’s popular movie RRR got a huge amount and was recorded In OTT rights. The amount for OTT rights of RRR was 170 crore rupees. AA Films owned by Anil Tatani Has acquired the North Indian distribution for Pushpa 2 movie for the amount of 200 crores.

The second part of the Pushpa movie will come with the title ‘Pushpa: The Rule’. This sequel movie is directed by Sukumar. The story of this movie was also written by the director Sukumar. Pushpa 2 will feature Allu Arjun in his leading role and Rashmika Mandana will feature opposite Allu Arjun in the female leading role. Mythri Movie Makers Produced this movie and it is prepared to release on 15th August 2024 the Independence Day of India. 

The budget for making Pushpa 2 movie was 500 crores. The rights for Pushpa 2 movie music are given worldwide. The Hindi release of the music from Pushpa 2 movie T Series has given 60 crores. This movie will come on the Netflix OTT platform in several languages so that the audience can enjoy their favorite movie sitting in their house.
