Amitabh Bachchan will get Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar Award this year

The Big B of the Bollywood industry Amitabh Bachchan will get Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar Award on 24th April 2024. The Mangeshkar family started to provide the Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar award in 2022. This award is given in memory of Lata Mangeshkar. The news about this award was announced by the Mangeshkar family on 16th April 2024, Tuesday. 

Amitabh Bachchan will get Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar Award on 24th April because it is the 82nd death anniversary of Master Dinanath Mangeshkar who was the father of Lata Mangeshkar. For the last 34 years, Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Smriti Pratishthan Sansthan has been honored in various sectors of people like art, fields of film with the Master Dinanath Mangeshkar award. 

Amitabh Bachchan will get Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar award including other 11 artists

From the last 34 years till now, 200 people have been honored by the Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Smriti Pratishthan Sansthan. After the death of Lata Mangeshkar, her family also included her name with this Smriti award. This year Randeep Hooda will also be honored with a special award which is the master Devnath Mangeshkar award. Amitabh Bachchan will get Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar award but besides him, there are also names of 11 artists included for the award.

1. AR Rahman for a long music service

2. Randeep Hooda for outstanding filmmaking

3. Roop Kumar Rathod for long music service

4. Ghalib Natak for outstanding dramatic production

5. Padmini Kolhapure for long film service

Proud moment for Hridyanath Mangeshkar:

Amitabh Bachchan will get Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar Award from the Mangeshkar family. A member of the Mangeshkar family Mr Hridyanath Mangeshkar expressed his proud feelings and said “Master Dinanath was a great singer, musician, and theater artist. His contribution to the stage artiste was incomparable. He is an inspiration for the people of Maharashtra and India. In his memory, the Mangeshkar family organizes the Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Smriti Pratisthan Award to honor veterans. We are happy to receive public love and support for these awards”.

Mr Roop Kumar Rathore expresses his happiness

Roop Kumar also will honor the Mangeshkar family and he is very happy about it. Roop Kumar Rathore expressed his happiness and said “It is our good fortune that I am being given this honour. This is the result of my rigorous musical practice. Getting this honor for music from the Mangeshkar family is no less than an Oscar and Filmfare for me”.
