This movie was based on the struggle of a Nomadic family. After the birth of a boy whose name is Joyta, the matriarch of the family struggles for a better lifestyle. Gypsy reflects on how a struggling family gets hit by illiteracy and poverty.
Bhera:
Is the third selection of 3 Marathi movies for the 77th Cannes. Bhera movie was screened at the 21st Chennai International Film Festival and is now getting ready for the 77th Cannes Film Festival. It was directed by Srikanth Prabhakar and produced by Anil Jadhav.
Bhera is made during the devastating COVID era. The story revolves around Anibai who lives alone in a village. She was waiting for his son Suresh who was stuck in Mumbai due to Covid. An Orphan boy Vishnu plays a very important role in this movie and helps Anibai. Vishnu helped Anibai with health issues like appendicitis when her son was not near her.
