Bollywood actress Kangna Ranaut turned into a politician after winning the Indian Lok Sabha election in 2024. A CISF woman slapped Kangna Ranaut at Chandigarh airport on 06 June 2024.
Kangna Ranaut turned into a BJP MP after winning the Lok Sabha election in 2024 from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. The CISF constable woman said that her mother was among the farmers who protested against the farm laws.
At that time Kangna Ranaut underestimated them and said that they participated in the protest after getting few amounts of money. The name of that CISF woman is Kulvinder Kaur.
Currently, the CISF woman constable is suspended officially and arrested for this case. Kangna Ranaut was waiting in the Chandigarh airport for a Delhi flight and at that time CISF woman slapped her.
The video went viral on social media and other online platforms and people reacted to this incident very much.
The CISF woman slapped Kangna Ranaut for disrespecting her mother
CISF stands for Central Industrial Security Force. Kulvinder Kaur was present on 6th June 2024 at the Chandigarh platform and she was on duty with her CISF dress. The woman claimed that Kangna Ranaut disrespected her mother who was one of the protestors in 2020 against the farm laws of Modi Government.
At that time Punjab was in a critical situation. Most of the people from Punjab are farmers and farmers are the backbone of a country. But in 2020 Indian government triggered a law and, in that case, 10000 farmers were barricading and blocking access to Delhi.
The CISF woman claimed that her mother was one of those farmers but the reason for slapping Kangna Ranaut, she disrespected the farmers at that time by giving a statement. The statement is “The farmers are sitting there for ₹100.”
The CISF woman questioned Kangna Ranaut in front of the media against her statement “Will she go and sit there? My mother was sitting there and protesting when she gave this statement…”
CISF woman slapped Kangna Ranaut when she was present in Chandigarh airport. She was on her way to Delhi because she was going to attend the meeting of the NDA (National Democratic Alliance).
The CISF woman was arrested and suspended
As soon as the CISF woman slapped Kangna Ranaut, she complained about the CISF woman. Within a few hours, Chandigarh the CISF woman was suspended, and an inquiry was ordered against her.
After that Kulvinder Kaur, the CISF woman was arrested by Chandigarh Police. But the woman was really brave and she reflected her courage by posting a statement on her “X” handle.
She posted in her native language Hindi and after translation, her comment is “I am not afraid of losing this job… I am ready to lose thousands of such jobs for my mother’s respect.”
Kangna’s reaction after the incident
The CISF woman slapped Kangna Ranaut during the security check and Kangna posted a video on her social media in this matter. In that video, Kangna Ranaut said, “The incident happened at the security check-in. The woman guard waited for me to cross. She then came and hit me… started throwing expletives. I asked (her) why she hit me. She said, ‘I support farmers’. I am safe… but my concern is terrorism is rising in Punjab. How do we handle that?”
BJP leader Jayram Thakur said regarding this matter, “It is unfortunate whatever has happened. For a security person to behave like this at Chandigarh airport is very unfortunate. The investigation will be done and I have got information that the security person has been suspended.”
Celebrities’ reaction
Music composer Vishal Dadlani reacted after the CISF woman slapped Kangna Ranaut and said that he would offer work to the CISF woman who slapped Kangna Ranaut and was suspended from her job. He wrote in an Instagram story, “I do not ever support violence, but I absolutely understand the need of this @official_cisf personnel’s anger. If any action is taken against her by the CISF, I will ensure that she has a job waiting for her should she choose to accept it. Jai Hind. Jai Jawaan. Jai Kisaan.”
Vishal Dadlani also said ‘someone get her in touch with me about the CISF woman. In 2023 Pop star Rihanna also questioned Kangna Ranaut regarding farmer’s protest.
Now most of the social media users also support Kulvinder Kaur and they are not in support of Kangna Ranaut after Kulvinder Kaur the CISF woman slapped Kangna Ranaut and expressed her reaction why she did it.
