The audiences were expected to see the reunion of Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor in the movie Housefull 5. Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar were cast in the movie Housefull 5 alongside Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan. But Anil Kapoor will no longer be a part of this film due to money matters. 

As Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar’s role in this film was set as a duo, now Nana Patekar’s role is being rewritten. Anil Kapoor left Housefull 5 And as a result of this incident, the makers will cast Arjun Rampal in this movie. Housefull is a franchise movie and in the first installment of this movie, Arjun Rampal played a role.

According to the sources, the producer of this film Sajid Nadiadwala disagrees with the fees demanded by Anil Kapoor. The character of Anil Kapoor for this film was fixed with Nana Patekar’s character. Their roles were set according to the iconic role of them in Welcome. As a result of Anil Kapoor walking out from Housefull 5 movie, Arjun Rampal will re-enter this franchise after 14 years. He played a character in the past part of Housefull.

The media reports stated that the director of Housefull 5 movie Tarun Mansukhani will start the shooting of this film in August 2024. Previously this film was said to release in Diwali of 2024 but now it is pushed to 2025. The first schedule of this film shooting is set to shoot in the UK. 

The makers recently shared a statement about Housefull 5 and said “The credit for the huge success of the Housefull franchise goes to the audience. The story of Housefull 5 is very different and people will definitely like it. It also requires excellent VFX, due to which the release date has been extended. The film will be released in theatres on June 6, 2025”.
